How big of a fridge, how many BTUs? Sounds like your beer fridge is too small or underpowered. Definately understocked in case of an emergency.

aluminum is a conductor and most things in nature desire a stasis point. Thus when warm objects are placed in a cooler area the entire space warms up slightly and then the compressor action allows the entire area to cool slightly.

Your fridge is teh suck. It is warming up because of the heat of the "new" 12 beers and it takes time for it to cool back down. |

Heat can transfer by means other than direct contact. If you put a big pot of boiling water in your fridge it would warm up the beers just like sticking hot beers in the fridge does. Eventually your cooling unit will win the battle.
