I'm looking at 2 bullets and aside from the .380 projectile being slightly bigger I don't see any difference between the two. Is there any difference?

.380 ACP is also known as 9mm Kurtz, or 9x17mm.

9mm Mak is also known as 9x18mm.

9mm Parabellum, or 9mm Luger, is 9x19mm.

Bullet size should be pretty much the same between all of 'em...

About 50fps and 50psi in favor of 9X18 Mak.  .380 is 9X17 browning so case length is different as well.  Both equal slidelock mag dumps when used in self defense.  They do dot overpenetrate quite much as 9mm though.

OK...I guess the 9mm Mak does look like it's a little longer.
