I see that they are producing them. Looks pretty nice. I am surprised that people are not talking about it in length. Just a thread here and there. You would think there would be more considering the subject matter.

I thought they weren't going to sell them to ordinary Americans. Now, if they do I'll be all over one and won't be as hot for a SCAR.

Colt is going to sell them in a ban free configuration. The stuff about Colt not selling to civilians is BS. They have a cover their ass policy that basically says their distributers shouldn`t sell their products to people who legally shouldn`t have them. Mark Roberts from Colt, a VP for marketing, stated on 1911 forum that no distributer was going to get in trouble with Colt for selling formerly restricted products in areas where it is legal to do so (free states). They are going to continue to make ban compliant models for those of us in occupied territory.

Colt can piss up a rope. There are some FINE companies out there that deserve my money, and they will get it.

Plus, I doubt Colt is even selling these to civilians so why get all moist over them?
