Or would it just be too damn evil and cause only bad things to happen?

Link Posted: 2/26/2006 10:19:11 AM EDT

I would.

Then I'd ask the guy from Girls Gone Wild and have him send some naked hotties to run in my maze.

Then I'd donate the proceedes to my charity for women that feel insecure about their small breats and want enlargements.

Only if the rule is that when you catch them, you get to pour the coals to that ass. Be like adult hide-n-seek.

I'd take the lodge itself and install an outdoor range in the yard. The shoothouse can replace the maze.
Link Posted: 2/26/2006 10:46:36 AM EDT
It'd be really cool for parties too. Kegs hidden through the maze. The next few days nobody would be able to find their way out in the drunken-ness.

If I had the money, I buy that house in Tennessee that had the really cool basement with the hydrolic vault doors and escape tunnel that was used by the dopers. Then turn the basement into a range. Or if that one wasn't available and I had the land and money together, I'd build one of my own.

Nope, I knew some people who tried it a couple of years ago. They thought prople would come see it like a tourist attraction and pay $10 a pop to go through it.

It cost out the azz, looked like shi'ite and still took every waking moment they had trying to keep it weeded-out and trimmed, still looked like shi'ite. Finally they let the weeds take it over and then bulldozed the whole thing.

No , waste of money . I'd rather have a shooting range . Less maint. too .

Hell, yeah.

You need to add another choice on your poll:

"Yes. Evil would follow. Nothing good would come of it! NOTHING! Bwahahahaha!!"

No.

Ummm...............................No.

Not only yes, but I would put booby traps in it, like a fake floor that when you walk on it collapses into a 10 foot pit with jagged spikes at the bottom.

There was a local Corn Maze here for halloween. I believe it was a total of 4 miles. Made it out the first time and then we went back in after dark with flash lights. Luckily there were guides positioned throughout the maze to help folks out ... including my son and I who had to use the restroom really bad .....

eh. that movie sucked ass, so therefore, anything associated with it will suck ass by proxy - mazes included.

The remake sucked; the original is the best film adaptation ever of any King horror book.

There was a remake and an original?
Link Posted: 2/26/2006 1:36:27 PM EDT
Yeah, but I'd build a range at the same time elsewhere.

If I had the land and the money...I'd get really fucked up and take a flamethrower to them hedges! Then I'd laugh as they tried to figure out how to get the fucking firetrucks through my gates!

Link Posted: 2/26/2006 1:42:27 PM EDT
Damn it the hedges interrupt the field of fire

King has always said that the original Kubrick version was his most disliked film adaptation. I thought he was nuts because other than Carrie and Shawshank, I have always thought that it was the best, and that most of his other adaptations were pretty bad, largely because he throws his weight around and always gets himself put into the creative film process for these projects, and his writing knack doesn't translate well to film, ( my opinion). He needs to stay out of the way when his books get made into movies. have a cameo if that turns you on, but let directors direct. Thats what they are there for.

Yes, King had a remake done a couple of years ago and it SUCKED big time.

A shooting range, MOUT facility, and a runway for your personal jet are already taken care of. You have more land than you know what to do with.
