Where's the belt-fed option in the poll?

Link Posted: 2/26/2006 5:39:52 AM EDT

I am impartial to bolt actions.

Auto pistols. More fun, plus cheaper, IMO.

Old surplus bolt guns.

I saw neither belt fed nor full auto in pole?

Tricky one. I like to shoot anything accurate. I think it's really fun to shoot my little Marlin 60. That thing could knock the nuts off a gnat. I like bolt guns, but not as much as AR's. Revolvers from .357Mag to just below .454 Cassul are fun. Above that and they just hurt. Of course, my favorite would have to be my Sig 220. MJD

I think there is overwelming evidence that people who own Sigs are 10X more happier handgun shooters than those who don't own one.

All the above for different reasons.

Can't choose just one.

shotguns... nice and destructive and 12 gauge ammuntion is cheaper than .223/5.56
Link Posted: 2/26/2006 6:40:06 AM EDT
5 poll options don't work

Toss up b/w auto pistols and rifles for me.
Link Posted: 2/26/2006 6:41:23 AM EDT
The satisfaction of bumping off a mag for us poor non-C3 owners, out of a high powered rifle gives me a woody.

I voted auto pistol because I have a Wilson CQB and It is a perfect weapon for me.

Otherwise, if I did'nt have the Wilson, my favorite would be: my AK, my 10/22, and then my G17.

I guess, I am trying to say that I have no preferance wether it is a longgun or pistol, I just like certain weapons over others due to their shootability (if that makes any sense).

Where is the option for Airsoft guns?
Link Posted: 2/26/2006 6:49:03 AM EDT
Love my AR but I have to say my lever action .22 is more fun!

there was no "tree-hugging Democrats" box so I selected auto loading Rifles

All the above
Link Posted: 2/26/2006 7:24:31 AM EDT
I enjoy shooting my semi-auto pistols most. I'm trying to get better with the rifles though.
Link Posted: 2/26/2006 7:25:15 AM EDT
Pretty easy. I don't own a shotgun, revolver or bolt anything.
Link Posted: 2/26/2006 7:27:05 AM EDT
Auto rifles. The more automatic, and the more capacity in the mag, the better.

Rifles...size DOES matter!
Seriously, I just feel more comfortable with a rifle than I do with a handgun (I've only shot maybe 3 or 4 handguns, and I've never felt "comfy" doing it.) Rifles seem to "fit" better. Besides, I prefer to shoot prone, something that just works better (for me) with a rifle.

There's no option for All of the Above--

Usually, I'll shoot whatever I have the most ammo available for, or have worked on recently. But I'm partial to calibers which will detonate Tannerite, and I dig my AKs. But I also like my 1911s a lot too. Oh wait-- there's the Smith 657. Oh and on the other hand--

(A lot of times, to avoid this logic loop, I'll just close my eyes and grab whatever made it to the front of the safe. )

It's ALL GOOD .
Kinda like gettin Laid .
Just some better than others .

Last week it was damn cold here but I went out with my cousin and shot my Smith 5900 with a 30+
rd mag into his frozen pond with very satisfying results . The ammo had no problem going right through 2 plus inches of ICE .
We shot out a circle of ice about a yard across . KINDA LIKE AT THE COUNTY FAIR .
Yes there was a proper backstop .
much fun only too cold .

Probably 1911's and revolvers...I'm a handgun lover from way back.

AR's are my favorite.

Which AR is my favorite is where I get hung up.

I like doing self defense exersises --- so that is why I chose auto pistols

I LOVE sniping p-dogs, so I love MY AR for that

I enjoy shooting long distances so my Bolt action is for that purpose ( 2.5" skeets at 350 m is a blast)

bogus poll.
Link Posted: 2/26/2006 8:32:27 AM EDT
Something about loading a revolver is SO SWEET. I also Love my shotgun. Like mentioned earlier, simple, powerful and destructive.
Link Posted: 2/26/2006 9:40:49 AM EDT
Anything Full-Auto!

Link Posted: 2/26/2006 9:44:04 AM EDT

What do you enjoy shooting more?

...cans.
Link Posted: 2/26/2006 10:57:06 AM EDT
More into pistols. Started out with handguns. Like the other stuff, too...although I only spend any time at all on a shotgun anymore in a 3 gun match or qualifying....

where's the "get both" option? I'm confused
Link Posted: 2/26/2006 11:03:58 AM EDT
Ruger 10/22
Link Posted: 2/26/2006 11:14:46 AM EDT

Pistols are cute and all, but I'm a rifleman.

And since I'm impatient, I voted auto rifle
Link Posted: 2/26/2006 11:17:28 AM EDT
You don't have a choice for semiautos.
Link Posted: 2/26/2006 11:43:59 AM EDT
What the heck no single shot option?

Stevens crack shot!!!!!!!!!
Link Posted: 2/26/2006 11:49:16 AM EDT
Depends I go through different obsessions, I focus in on fishing and my boat for awhile, then hunting, then drift back to my guns. As far as the guns go, I may only be interested in my pistols for awhile, then only precision rifles, then shotgun, then semi-auto carbine, then Precision Semi Auto Carbines As my interest is in Semi-auto carbines right now that is how I voted. Post again next month and the answer may change.
Link Posted: 2/26/2006 11:51:35 AM EDT
No choice for "all of the above"
Link Posted: 2/26/2006 11:57:09 AM EDT
auto rifles for sure...........i don't shoot my handguns near as much as i should..........
Link Posted: 2/26/2006 11:57:37 AM EDT
pistols for sure. I think they are more fun than rifles.
Link Posted: 2/26/2006 11:59:05 AM EDT
I'm not much of a shotgunner, but if it goes "BANG!" I enjoy it.
Link Posted: 2/26/2006 12:08:03 PM EDT
Your poll should read:

Revolvers
Auto pistols
Auto rifles (AR's, AK's, FAL's)
Bolt/Lever Guns
Shotguns
Muslims

Ruger Blackhawk 357 loaded with 38's. Goes with me everytime I shoot. Feels good, shoots nice, looks "classic". I own "a few", but that's my favorite.
