Try to get some rest. Get away from your routine for a few days and do something that you have always wanted to do but never done before. Keep your everyday life out of your thoughts while you take this break.
Even a weekend away from the grind will help. Bon Chance. |

Try getting in a good work out or excercise hard for an hour or two. This usually gets my mind off of work, etc.

Take a week off. Get away from the job for bit. Go shooting. Go fishing. Spend time outdoor or with the family. Or both.
I was heavy into burnt out stage, so I went back to patrol. No cases stacked up, no page outs at 3 AM in the morning to meet with some tweaker.... Sheep |

First thing is, WHY do you feel burnt out?
If it's a shitty job situation, find another job. If it's a crappy relationship, think about leaving it. If it's just life in general, you might want to look into antidepressants. I found that spending two years living in a third-world hellhole does wonders for one's attitude. |
