So, after all of the talk about the guns used in HEAT, I decided to watch heat for the first time. Now, I'm still confused. What really was the gun used by Pacino in the movie? Unfortunately, I'm not a team member yet, so the search function for the general forum is unknown to me...

It was a Lorcin assault pistol converted to SBR configuration by Special Weapons.

HEAT: best, and most realistic street-shootout scene in any movie, ever. The sound engineers in that movie alone should all be given oscars.

It was a Hi Point carbine converted to full auto.

Just when I got that Valbow out of my nightmares....someone had to bring up the movie HEAT again!!!!

Al Pacino did not use a gun in the movie heat. He just let Chuck Norris off of his leash. I will admit that when angered, Chuck Norris does look a little like a gun. But the fact is, it was Chuck Norris.
