I have started to switch to CF bulbs in the house and have run into a snag. I have a fixture that is on a dimmer switch that goes through convential (incandescent) light bulbs faster than I care for. I want to switch to a CF bulb, but everyone that I have purchased says that it will not w/ fixtures controlled by a dimmer switch.

So, do they make CF bulbs that work w/ fixtures controlled by a dimmer switch?

Thanks!

Thank you for the URLs! I will check them out.

Does any one have any actual experience using CF bulbs on a fixture controlled by a dimmer switch?

Thanks!

Cool. I didn't think dimmable CF existed...

They will work, but you just need to use an appliance module (simple on off) instead of a lamp module (dimmable)
