Man, that girl knew a lot about guns. Nice to see that guns are not taboo on Jeopardy.

Did you see how the women detested that catagory? They all but spit when they said "I'll take gunz for 300", etc.

Wifey noticed it as well.

The college prof knew the most, and she is a libtard, too boot!

Nuts, I always daydream about this happeneing while watching Jeporady. Now it happens.

What were the questions? I'm guessing it was easy crap like "what do you call the tube thingy that the bullet goes through?" or something.
Link Posted: 2/23/2006 4:06:12 PM EDT
No shit... how about that. Tag for the questions.

I would have thought there'd be "Why, this is a show for the intelligent people! All intelligent people know that they are too stupid to be trusted with guns, therefore all knowledge about guns should be suppressed, and certainly not asked about on Jeopardy!"

Arfcom Guy 1 in Audience: "Its a mini-galil you $#%^&!"

Arfcom Guy 2: "What?! No it's not you friggin n00b! It's a Romanian AK!"

Arfcom Guy 1: "%#@$ you, and your wife! Which by the way, she still owes me $50...it's a Galil!"

*Both Guy 1 & 2 stop and stare at 3 with mouths gaping....then suddenly and simultaneous draw down on 3 as he draws down on 1 & 2*

Alex: "Uhh uhh we'll be right back after this commercial break!"

*Gun fire commences just after video cuts*

Questions?

Jeopardy gives the answers, you guess the questions...

So we want the list of: ANSWERS!, then we'll guess the questions...

Man, sorry I missed it, who's the TIVO whore around here?

One was about a derringer - the inventor; another was about a Winchester 94; a gatling gun; forgot the rest. The girl in the middle knew a lot, but I could see the looks of disgust from the other two brainwashed ones.

ETA: I'll take DUPES for $300 Alex...

You know guys and gals, we could have our own jeopardy here... We could post answers as topics, and then post the questions... It would just be the reverse of what we do now....

The $1000 answer was: The four letter name for the gun that replaced the Tommy Gun in WWII.

The question was: What was the Sten?

The girl got it right! I about shit when she said it. Got to give her credit. She did get at least three of the answers right.

WTF for whose army? We didnt use the Sten M1 Grease gun was used to supplement the M1 Thompson and it was based roughly off of the Sten.

You would think as anal as Jeopardy is that the category "GUNS" would be about field guns, tank guns/anti-tank guns, and naval guns.

Yep. I'm not sure if the answer on the show had anything to do with the Brits or not.

I was messing around getting supper and only listening, not fully watching. One answer had to do with the model 94 ,known as the gun that won the west, and who it was manufactured by. We of course know the answer they were looking for was Winchester (girl answered remington). The thing is they showed a picture that I didn't get a great look at ,but my guess based on a fast look is that the picture was a marlin!
Did someone get a better look than I did?

Was this a current show or an old syndicated one? It comes on in an hour on the west coast, I'll record it.

And all I can think of is the episode of Sledge Hammer" when he was on a Jeopardy-like show and the question was "Who is the father of the 44Magnim?",and he couldn't get to answer " ELMER KEITH".

US forces never used the Sten, The Greasegun only supplemented the Thompson, and the Thompson was still in use in Korea.

It should be M3A1 for the 4 letters, not Sten.
