The Arc Angels.... included former members of Stevie Ray Vaughan's band... recorded one album in 1990, and then split up a couple years later.
BB Chung King and The Buddaheads.... sometimes called the Asian SRV.  Walter Trout... formerly of Canned Heat in the 1960s, played at Woodstock, now a red hot blues guitarist not well known in the US but has a big following in Europe. Jonny Lang Kenny Wayne Shepherd Storyville Chris Duarte ... among other blues rockers Country... I like the old stuff that doesn't get radio play. It's a long list but you guys who like classic country know what I'm talking about. |

I saw Opeth 3 years ago and they bored the hell out of me. They are good though. I'm seeing them again in a couple weeks. My friends like them a lot.

I have been staying away from mainstream music for years. On the top of my list of favorites are Dropkick Murphys,The Pogues, Flogging Molly, John Lee Hooker, Social Distortion, Rancid, The Amazing Crowns, The Clash, Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, and the list go's on...

Type O Negative is just awesome. The lead singers voice has that "bunch of scared teen-agers running for their lives in the woods while being chased by evil" sound to it. If i needed to do a soundtrack for a scary movie... basically it would be Peter Steele doing that deep...."OOOOOHHHHHMMMMMMMMM" for 2 hours. I am listening to "haunted" right now actually... from the blair witch soundtrack. And if anyone cares... Type O did the intro song for "I know what you did Last summer"... with their remix of Summer Breeze. BUT, if you can find the song called "Summer Girl"... i think it is a MILLION times better... with the extra song at the end... that it flows SO smoothly into. |

The Clash Dead Kennedys Anti-Flag T.S.O.L. For the others... KMFDM Lacuna Coil Within Temptation I like the rock bands with a female voice. I would have killed to see Maynard and Amy Lee do a song together.... had it all planned out but her record label screwed her. |
