Thining of getting a surefire that can be mounted on my AR.  (not to hijack) what say ye regarding a AR mounted surefire?

There's a Nuwai Q3 right in front of me, a Streamlight Scorpion in the next room, a Photon keychain light on my keychain (these are one of the best deals going in keychain lights: two levels of brightness, and a strobe feature, and sold at Academy for $5.86), a Surefire L2, packed up and ready to be sent to a winner for 82nd Abn's raffle, a Surefire 6P with a P61 lamp and a strike bezel next to the bedstand, a Streamlight Stinger on the other side of the bedstand, several Inova X5's scattered about, and the really good ones not even out of their comfy drawer.

Yeah, I love me some flashlights!

On my hip.

Seriously.  When its dark, you'd be surprised how well you can see by the light given off by a cell phone screen.  MORE than enough light to navigate around the house, find lanterns, candles, matches, etc.

I have a Surefire G2 and a Surefire E1E (with the KL1 LED head) both on my belt.

I keep three spare batteries in the small pocket that is just inside the right front main pocket.

I'm always using the E1E to illuminate something every day.

Keep a G2 under my pillow at night. If my son needs someone to lie down with him at night I may slip my E1E under the pillow.

8" from my right hand is an unbranded 2AA flashlight from a Dollar Store
8" from my left hand is a MiniMag light that I intend to stick in a pack
14" from my left hand is a Streamlight 3C 10 LED light that just seems to have found a home on my desk
If I extend my left hand there's a Streamlight 4AA Xenon light on my workbench
If I lean to the left and extend my hand, there's a 3D Maglight with no batteries
Open top desk drawer, there's a little Prodigy 1 AA piece of crap, but it works.  Also see a pack of two extra Maglite bulbs in there
Top right desk drawer, another unbranded 1 AA light from Dollar Store.  It works.
Middle desk drawer, a cheap RayVac combo LED/Xenon light with red LED option

If we were to extend the radius out to about 25 feet, it would get a lot more interesting.
