People don't drink pina colada because they are thirsty...

Nevermind, reread your post.

I think they are too sweet

No, Dom Perignon.

I was expecting you to post a pic of something that looks like Pina Colada.
I don't enjoy anything with coconut in it except coconut creme pie.

1 oz coco lopez
2 oz pineapple juice
1/2 oz cream
1/2 oz OJ
1/2 oz rose's lime juice

2 oz of your favorite rum

fill the glass you intend to use 3/4 full of ice, and dump the ice into the blender.  blend at low speed.

the longer you blend it, the thicker it will be.  you should see a definite vortex forming at the top of the drink.  if the top stops moving while blending, you've gotten it too thick.  add more rum until the vortex re-forms.

garnish with pineapple slice, orange slice, and cherry.

you may also wish to float 1/2 oz of 151 on top of the final product.

I wasn't old enough to drive yet, but, I was coolin' in the baby blue Maverick
of my best freind when that song was hot.

If you make them for a girl that you brought back to your place, you have to drink some from the same pitcher so she doesn't think you're trying to drug her.

IMO, lime and oj are vital to making it a special drink.  i hate making them at the bar, but when i do, i want to make sure they're memorable.

I see.

Well, I dont consider it a chick drink considering its coconut syrup, ice and rum.....which is hardly a "chick drink" like say, Zima or other malt beverages.
