Be ready to wipe your ass with an ice cream cone.

You should start a pre-emptive pepto bismol regimen, and make sure you take an ice cream cone with you into the bathroom when the urge strikes.

If I were you, I probably wouldnt plan to leave the house for at least 12 hours
Those are usually Thai dragons (those red peppers) and they are damn hot, as you are about to learn. It isnt all the bad, but you got some heat comin your way.

Fire in the hole!

Those dry peppers are just there for show. If you eat them, you still be fine.

Of course if you are in Chengdu in Szezhuan, they eat dry peppers all the time.

Honestly, the unscented baby wipes should have a place in the throne room of every man who enjoys spicy food. They are a godsend.

dried peppers are not hot. The hotness comes from the oils in the skin.

Just pull the full ice bucket out of the freezer, SIT ON IT AND SHIT INTO IT. It will help.

Just a bit of advice for all those who like "hot" food. You should eat a 1/2 gallon of your favorite ice cream IMMEDIATLY after eating hot foods.

The reason for this is so you can sit on the throne the next day and scream
COME ON ICE CREAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't eat spicy foods, but it is supposed to be healthy for you.

Wouldn't the ouchy bits be broken down by your stomach and intestinal track?

Maybe being addicted to them is the adverse affect ?

It's no problem whatsoever. Really. Or maybe I just have a cast-iron asshole after years of eating them.

Seriously, Saturday I went to one of my favorite little restaurants, a Burmese place near Nanshijiao (exit four, then walk about a mile to Burmese Alley, turn left, and it's a few blocks down on the right -- once you hit the 7-11, it's the last shop on the next block -- like this will do anyone from ARFCOM any good ).

The kid there (about ten years old) thinks it's funny to keep adding more and more of these peppers, chopped up finely so I can't separate them out, into my tomato salad.

Well, it *was* funny. I thought it was great, just kept eating merrily away. But two days ago, he finally exceeded my limit. Couldn't eat the stuff. First time I ever had to try to pick any of the peppers out.

I've got photos of their "to go" pack in my camera, and will post the recipe next time I find the #*&$ing USB cable.
