I had a guy try to sell me a new interceptor body armor vest cheap. A little too cheap.

Could I get in trouble for buying this "surplus"?

how old is the vest?

there are surplused interceptors out there but they are not NEW.

They're legal enough, AFAIK.

Ask for some verification of who the seller is, or where the vests came from.

Make him sign a reciept indicating that the vest is legal.
