I went out and bought a propane grill today. I've got several charcoal grills already. But I like the convenience of propane. Flavor shouldn't be that much different will it?

Each has its place.  A lot of people prefer charcoal's taste, and charcoal grills are less expensive to buy and less prone to mechanical failure.  Propane is easier to use, faster to use, easier to clean up, and usually cheaper to fuel.

Charcoal is good when you want that taste you can't quite get from propane.  Propane is good when you want to cook something quick and easy.
