I have a 20mm ammo can that i want to put diced foam into.

The problem is, diced foam is near impossible to find!!

I'm looking for a couple of pieces measured 9" wide 13.5" long and 3.5" deep.

Any suggestions?

I've been all around for 30 miles looking for this stuff. Home depot, Ace, Radio Shack, Hobby Lobby, Lowe's, etc. No luck.

try searching for "pick n pluck" foam. You'll find it everywhere.

You can find it online easily, and it doesn't cost a lot either.
http://www.foambymail.com/packaging.html is but one place.
My only complaint is that they don't bother with packing it much at all, they just throw it in a cardboard box!

And the above place doesn't have pluck foam, but I have been told that pluk foam isn't the best way to do it anyway. As easy as it is to get pluck foam into the shape you want, it is also easy to drop the case and have the items insied rip the pluck foam, and then they may strike each other or the case sides if bumped any more. What works better is to use several layers of thinner foam, 1/2" to 1" and stack them and then cut each layer as you need.

I prefer the rounded foam to the diced...:

On the subject of foam. Had a transtesticle come in to my work tonight with fake boobs that he fashioned from styrofoam. Talk about a Freak of nature.

+1 on foambymail.com - I've used them before (not for diced foam) and they had good prices and service.

Try a camera shop. Photo people use it to line their camera cases.
