I looked at them once, wasn't too impressed. Ended up having McBros build me an A4 for my 300wm I was putting together.

I have one on my Savage 10FP prairie dog gun. It is built like a tank. I like it very much. The rifle gives .4 moa groups with the stock.  My only complaint is it is a bit heavy. I paid $150 or so through Brownells. I would buy another.

"Amatures"??????? As opposed to what, a professional? Unless someone pays you to shoot and buys your equipment you are by definition an amatuer, which accounts for 99% of the members here.

+1, I've got my 10FP set up the same way and get the same results.  Very solid!

Ignore the "gee, well shit, you gotta have the latest whizbang gadget thingy that costs $6000."

Are you shooting on a budget?  Doesn't matter, the Choate stock series works just fine.
Cut my groups in half on my 1k stick!!!

People distain the stock because it was marketed poorly early on. It is a good stock. Get one you will not be sory.

The Varmint stock is a better designed stock.

You might want to look at that one.

I got one and love it, $179.00 mice nuts when you look at the big picture. I wouldn't hesitate to get another one if the need came up.
