I think it was on around 1988 or 1990. I looked on Amazon and it looked like they may have had an old VHS, but its a pretty vague description. I remember liking the show as a kid, and I wanted to check it out again. Anyone know how many episodes it ran?

I kind of remember it used a lot of footage from the movie "the final countdown"

Oh, did that show ever suh-huuuuuuck...

(but I watched it, hoping beyond hope that they would hop in their planes and shoot stuff down...)

Officers had their families living with them on the "Super Carrier". That show sucked rotten skunk ass. I remember it. It was like some kind of soap opera.

Didnt it come on right after Cop Rock?

Horrible. I've been trying to forget that show for 15 years. Leave it dead and buried where it belongs.

I think I watched part of one episode.
I was doing some work on the Nimitz at NOB Norfolk while they were fliming part of The Final Countdown. Kirk Douglas and Martian Sheen are short dudes.
