If you do you get banned.. Humor has to be bland, or you will get banned... Speak out about one of the cash cows, banned.. Don't be mad at the mods. There just doing there job of protecting the image of this site and the image of the cows.. That is whats important!

sorry but individual perspective is something than we just can not fix. Sr staff and staff have picked people they feel best uphold the priciples of the site. They retained them because they help to guide the site in the direction the owner wants it to go and srstaff feels they can trust them. Bad decisions have been made in the past and i have no doubt will be again. It's hard to staff a place like this with people you have never met face to face.

Frequently mods and staff disagree about certain issues, just like everyone else. the difference is we hammer out the details in the mod forums so as not to disrupt the site. There is a great deal of work going on behind the scenes to keep this place going. When a member has an issue and is locked, it should never be taken personally. I most all cases i have looked into for members there were ALWAYS multiple warnings for the same offence over and over again. Finally a final warning is given, when the line is crossed they are locked until they can further discuss the issue with the staffer involved.

It may not be the best solution but in reality it's the only one we have. With the amount of idiot kids and dumbasses we have trolling the forums on a regular basis there must be some way to insure stability and discipline on the board. An account lock is the ONLY recourse staff has.

I will say this and stand by it.

TBK and i have had more than our fair share of run in's and head butting contests. I have learned one thing about him in all this. I have rarely found him to act out of spite or malice. In fact due to his percieved issue with people he is second guessed so often i doubt he could lock someone out of spite and get away with it from srstaff. For awhile i looked into lots of locked accounts for members that were flooding me with complaints. In all of those complaints i never found a single one that was justified. I every case the posts were VERY borderline and attempts to warn the poster were made.

Guys, none of us want to see an account locked and long time member locked/banned. Is following a POSTED set of rules in an attempt to keep some order here really that much to ask? No one has said you can't have fun or pretty much discuss anything. The only thing the Avilla's have asked is that things remain civil. Period. I really don't think that's asking much.

Guys - There is a cubis assload of stuff that has to get done here daily to keep the site running, most of which most of us never see. With nearly 92000 members, there is only so much time to devote to each item on the To Do list.

Think of it as a Cost/Benefit Analysis (also never forget the root word of "analyze" is "anal")

When something gets to be more trouble than it's worth, it has to either be adjusted or it's gotten rid of. Sad, but true.

I do not know slow5series or anything about his locking, so I can't comment.

I do know something about TRH, I, too, also found him funny, but at times he was a royal PITA. I didn't lock him, so I can;t give you a difinitive answer, but he has seemingly enjoyed the role of "razor dancer" at least since the AZ HTF meltdown last summer.

Now, as to this being a "surprise", I personally find that somewhat doubtful, but this sort of possible "misunderstanding" is exactly the sort of thing that is best handled in private, over the phone or in person where vocal inflection, tone, and/or body language help to convey a message that plain text often does not.

That being said, the exact WRONG place to try and reach a concord is in a public thread were all and suundry can chime in.....9 times out of 10, nobody pleads for reason, they simply egg the protagonists on.
