they're pretty low on my list of good greasy burger places, whataburger, in-n-out(have to drive to effing phoenix for that), and some of the local chains are a lot better imho

Have you guys not had the chili cheese tater tots?
Sonic is great. MUCH better than Whataburger AFAIK. Wataburger used to be great, but, it stinks now. Sonic has bee consistantly good everywhere I've had it in TX. |

We must have a good one. Its the closest garbage food joint to the house. Next is Whataburger (best IMO) but this was fastest tonight.

Man I want to try them...I see their commercials on TV every now and again and my daughter and I say "that looks good"..... but there are none in Michigan! We'd have to drive a couple hours plus to one n Ohio.

It's funny , I see their ad's on TV all the time here in NY .
So I got on their website and found the closest one to me is in Ohio . The agency running ad's must have one hell of a salesman

Never been.
They even have commericals on TV here for Sonic's and yet I don't think there is one in Oregon. No loss, the only Fastfood I eat is Taco Bell and Bugerville. |

GREAT corn dogs. Excellent shakes, and the slushies are great in the summertime. Breakfast sandwiches are pretty good too. So-so fries, sub-par burgers.

You guys got to go to burgerville a few times if you ever come into the NW.
All local and seasonal ingredients but it's still fast food, just costs a tad bit more. |

I'm from Hawaii and we get the commercials, but don't have any Sonics. I'm in Arizona right now and got to eat there for the first time yesterday. It was GREAT! We ate there again today and will probabaly go back tomarrow. +1 on the breakfast burrito. Hope they open one in Hawaii. I thought the service was excellent for a fast food joint.

Sonic has good drinks and desserts but crappy food.
I got so damn sick one time in Madison, AL. I had one of those breakfast sandwhiches from sonic. Blah I was so sick I did not think I would make it home. |

I loved Sonic a lot more until a couple of months ago. All of the Sonics in this area quit serving my very favorite thing, THE FRITO CHILI PIE!!!!!
 The rat bastards also quit selling country-fried steak sandwiches and chili-frito-onion burritos, my other two most favorite things to eat at Sonic. I can't understand why they would stop selling great food like this unless the Frito-Lay company did something to piss them off? This had no long-term effect on me obviously bacause as I type this I am eating two corndogs, a large order of tater tots (both burnt at my request) and a large iced tea from Sonic.

 They are regional to the South and Central States. Whataburger is alot more regional to the South IIRC. |

I've never been to Sonic. I've only seen their television commercials.
I don't like to eat at fast-food restaurants anymore because it's just not healthy. If I do, I'll go to Chick-Fil-A. |

Sonic is OK, a great Sonic was in Carlsbad, NM.
But nothing is better than In-Out Burger.. None here I miss them.
