Hey, if you don't like the gold, a can of spray paint can fix it.

Something tells me, he has his money made in his escalade.......but that's alright because he is still fly. And He'll stay because if he doesn't - he'll take you to the candyshop - and he'll make you lick the lollipop. And nobody wants that so. So just Ante Up already and bling bling your crunked out gat fo shizzle.

It is true that one's gat must match the proverbial carpet of one's grill. Ergo, gold teeth must be a mirror image of one's boomstick so as to scare off the competition when you have to draw down after a bad case of scrapping over a card game. A card game gone so bad that your G's pimp out your grandmother to compensate for your inadequacies. But that friends, is neither here nor there.

Moral of the story - don't bling your guns. I'd have more respect if you pimped your grandmother. Not really - I'm just saying hypothetically here.

It will be a safe queen, has historical value.

I think it's the gun Kerry used to hold off the Nazis at Pearl Harbor.

I just looked at some of his other auctions and found out that that the seller is Uncle Todd's Gun Shop. Is he still located right outside of town on 13?

The gun shop is there but it is The Wild Indian Gun Co. I think they changed their name but many still call it Uncle Todd's. I remember a couple years back they couldn't sell any guns for a while because their FFL was messed up.

somebody has already bid $225 for that pooch. Sucker born every minute.

There is a crack on the bottom of the stock starting from the trigger guard up to the side of the stock.

There is also crack in the bloodstream of whoever made that fucked up piece of crap-plated history.

It's a piece of crap for sure, but a Universal isn't exactly "history".

A few minutes in my blast cabinet, and I'll have it looking like a man again, a dip in the park tank, toss that chunk of wood on the fire and stick a potbelly stock on it and it will good to go.

Wundda if theyze got beams fo that?

Guys, Universal carbine is a commercial repro. I can't think of a better POS to bling out than that.

Like the earlier poster said, at least it's not GI.

And my eyes hurt from looking at those pictures!

Cheers,

$300 and the reserve is still not met. If the seller was smart, he would take that $300 and run for the hills.
Link Posted: 2/18/2006 6:37:47 AM EDT
I wonder how much the gold would be worth if there were a way to remove it and salvage it.

You just HAVE to wonder what possessed someone to do this to this gun. Do you suppose someone inherited it from a beloved relative and decided to "preserve" it?

I had my grandfather's .22 refinished completely and it costed FAR more than the actual value of the gun. But it was restored to better than factory new condition, not blinged out...

I just wanted the gun to last another couple hundred years or so in order that my grandkids would someday own it and pass it on.

I have to admit I am considering having his name engraved into the receiver though. What do you all think of such an idea?

I think it would be a great idea. You have no plans of ever selling the piece, so why not make it an heirloom that several generations can enjoy.

Oh most definitely NEVER! It would be completely worthless on the merits of its own market value anyway. Approximately 80 year old Remington single shot cheapo that has been refinished...

I'm thinking of something along the lines of "In Loving Memory of John Henry Meek 1914-1979"

He could make big dolla selling that pimp gun to a swede. Just think that boy could cut loose with his gold plated smile to match his drive by gun.

I wonder how hard the guys at the plating shop laughed when he brought that piece of shit in.
