I just saw on CNN that the local constable, Medellin, knew about the accident shortly after it happened. He called the Corpus Christi sheriff, Salinas, and reported there was a hunting accident, reported he was SURE it was nothing more than an accident, and that everyone was getting treatment. The sheriff decided that was good enough and decided not to send his deputy out until Sunday.

Is this what the media was all excited about?

You up for being called a "Bush-basher" and a "liar?"

No. The media has their panties in a wad because they were not notified before the po-po or hospital.

True. They'd rather have the man bleed out as long as they got the scoop before the local paper did.

The media finds it hard to imagine that a couple of local cops can't demand and receive access to the VPOTUS immediately. There are security issues and such.
