I have two Chihuahuas named Taco and Fajita. You have to name it something culture related just for fun. Or, you could name it Cat or Bird, or even better, FISH!!

Yeah, my buddy has a Jack Russell Terrier named Daniels.  I guess that fits into his "drinking culture."I like Juneau or Kenai for a Malamute.  Malamutes are powerful and rugged, so I'm not sure "Puffy" would cut it.

I bought my girlfriend one for christmas and we decided on Aurora. Its a great dog, awesome personality, but she has so many medical problems. She came from a puppy mill and she has such bad hip dysplasia that the vet says she should be put down. So far we have spent about 3k in vet bills on her.  All that said make sure you get one from a reputable breeder. She is a great dog and super smart. She doesnt really bark at all, she howls and sounds like a yeti or chewbacca. She talks alot, she tries to mimic what you say, its pretty funny. She gets mad if she cant copy the words that you are saying.

Considering that glowing red right eye, I would suggest either "Termie" or "Ahnold".

ETA: oops, wrong dog, huh.  Ok.  Well, "Puddles" is always a good name for a puppy.

I'll tell ya what, I saw a malamute in the back of a truck the other day, and it was HUGE   It was dang near the biggest dog I have ever seen.  I know alot of it was hair, but still, it looked like a small horse.

I know that many people over estimate the weight of dogs, but this dog was much bigger than any wolf taxidermy mount that I have been up close to, and they are supposed to be around 150lbs.   This dog had to go at least that, probably around 175-180.

I have always wanted a malamute, and I know they are usually large, but this dog scared me, and I was in my truck!!!!!

[#47]
yeah they can get pretty big, her parents were 90 and 75 pounds so hopefully she doesnt get much bigger! I could not immagin feeding a 150 plus pound dog

for as big and as intimadating as they appear to be, i have never seen a breed of dogs that are so friendly,  if she hits 80 pounds or so i am going to joke around and tell people its a wolf, my husky in the picture is about 50 pounds, but the hair makes him look bigger
