Damn, I love Willie and I'm even willing to overlook his politics, but this is too much

garandman I really didn't need to hear that. That ranks right up there with the video of three fat chicks giving birth that I had to watch in class today. |

Who here is really suprised by this? Willie Nelson has always been more of a hippie than a cowboy.
He has always had more in common with Berkeley than with Texas. |
Damn, why did someone from Lubbock have to write that song.
I hang my head in shame |
I find it funny as hell when somebodys favorite musician turns out to be a closet moonbat whacko
Anybody who didn't know that Willie Nelson was a moonbat liberal hasn't been paying attention. |
After listening to it just play an old copy of Monty Python doing "The Lumberjack Song" and your mind will be cleansed.

I believe that Willie himself might be "fancy". |

I recall a situation at a point in the early 80's when al the metal heads worshiped Judas Priest and called bands like REO, Styx, Foreigner, etc. "gay" and all the pretty boy singers a bunch of "fags" - - and years later, the "god" of the metal heads was gay!!!
Now we have a similar thing going on in country music, I can only wonder how many of country music's legends are/were gay or bi. "Whatever happened to Randolph Scott..." - The Statler Brothers . |

On the scrot again,
He can't wait to get on the scrot again What he really loves is ******* off his friends, Ol Willie wants back on the scrot again..... He's a tight butted tranny in love with a good timin' man... And let's not even begin to think about how one could butcher Ring of Fire.... |

Here's the lyrics, copied from this post www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=1&f=5&t=437498
Since it looks as if this will be the main thread, so I put them here for your "enjoyment" - He's got a few comics there too... Cowboys Are Frequently Secretly Fond of Each Other - There's many a strange impulse out on the plains of West Texas; There's many a young boy who feels things he don't comprehend. Well small towns don't like it when somebody falls between sexes, No, small towns don't like it when a cowboy has feelings for men. Well I believe in my soul that inside every man there's a feminine, And inside every lady there's a deep manly voice loud and clear. Well, a cowboy may brag about things that he does with his women, But the ones who brag loudest are the ones that are most likely queer. Cowboys are frequently secretly fond of each other What did you think those saddles and boots was about? There's many a cowboy who don't understand the way that he feels towards his brother, Inside every cowboy there's a lady who'd love to slip out. Ten men for each woman was the rule way back when on the prairie, And somehow those cowboys must have kept themselves warm late at night. Cowboys are famous for getting riled up about fairies, But I'll tell you the reason a big strong man gets so uptight: Cowboys are frequently secretly fond of each other That's why they wear leather, and Levi's and belts buckled tight. There's many a cowboy who don't understand the way that he feels towards his brother; There's many a cowboy who's more like a lady at night. Well there's always somebody who says what the others just whisper, And mostly that someone's the first one to get shot down dead: When you talk to a cowboy don't treat him like he was a sister Don't mess with the lady that's sleepin' in each cowboy's head. Cowboys are frequently secretly fond of each other Even though they take speed and drive pickups and shoot their big guns; There's many a cowboy who don't understand the way that he feels towards his brother; There's many a cowboy who keeps quiet about things he's done. It's so wrong... In so many ways. I heard it on a talk show, I thought it was a joke. It's not. |

Sure does. Remember how Ellen complained when her show tanked? |

ah, the reaction of some on this board is classic. Stop, my sides hurt! ~Dg84 |

Maybe the songwriteris full of "strange impulses", but I sincerely doubt most Texans are. Honestly, anyone think that Jim Bowie and Davey Crockett were playing grabass at the Alamo???? I think not.
Like why revisionists insist that everyone in the past wasn't who we think they are.
There is no "feminine" in me. Thus his "belief" is as realistic as a belief in the tooth fairy. (no pun intended...)
Ya. So talking about sex with women is a cover for being a closet homosexual?? Talk about issues, this songwriter has more than Sports Illustrated.
Uhhhh.....Saddles are meant to allow someone to ride a horse. Plus, horses don't naturally come with somewhere to shove a Winchester rifle and a lasso. Well, you could TRY to put the winchester somewhere, but the horse probably wouldn't appreciate it. And the boots? They are FOOTWEAR. They were not designed by Fritz and Lionel to have something "saucy" to wear while they herded cattle.
I dunno what kind of f*cked up cowboys he has been hanging around with, but that ain't the case. I have never seen a real cowboy go: I want you to call me Loretta! I want to have babies!!!
They did. With fires, and blankets. And occasionally hookers.
Again, if you think that deep inside every man there is a woman with a lisp trying to get out, then you have personal issues deeper than the Grand Canyon.
Except, I suppose, the gay cowboy songwriters who reveal this secret world where every dude is a closet homosexual...... |

Modern country sucks.
I'm sure there are gay cowboys, but why make a song or a MOVIE about it? |
That's just about the stupidest fucking thing I've ever read. It's gotta be a joke. |
HOLY SHIT! Is that for real? |
I don't care who you are, that's funny. |
If it was a parody, it would be hilarious, but as a serious song, it’s pitiful. I mean, I can't believe anyone could write something that bad that's not a parody. |

+1 Why do people care about this stuff so much? Some people are fags, let them be. As long as they're not bothering me, I don't care. |
Now that is QUALITY sig line material tight there. |
I would like to take this opportunity to make note of strong and heart felt agreement with Currahee. Something akin to the frequency of a lunar eclipse. Long live the Hag. |
I guess old Willie is rich enough to afford to be a liberal now.
I find it a tad hypocritical having partied with the man years back and hearing his THEN veiws on the gay lifestyle. I couldn't post it here. Tj |

"The Dallas Morning News said the song had a personal connection for Nelson because his longtime tour manager, David Anderson, revealed his homosexuality to Nelson two years ago."
- I can't even go into the comments which this begs for - |
So... What's gonna be the new avatar? Looks like Nelson is a big fan of brokeback mountain. |
DAMN FUNNY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!............... |
