If you get Discovery Times channel, turn it on now or Tivo the next two hours.  They are replaying an outstanding documentary about the South African Special Police Force.  I have to say it is probably one of the best documentaries I've ever seen.  Tons of shootouts captured on film during the two years that the film crew spent with the SASPF.  Probably 10-15 guys get killed on camera during the special.  Tons of gun porn as well.

Don't miss it!

I don't think it is available on DVD.  It is run on  DSTimes about twice a year, apparently.

It will probably run again later this week, for anyone who misses it this time around.

Anybody else notice something a little off on the bank robber "going for his gun?"  The one in the police uniform I think.  He has on blue BDUs and security cam shows him reaching into his right hand pocket.  Five seconds later they show an agent pulling a nickel plated revolver from this perp's left leg pocket.

Still seems like a great bust though.

ETA Nevermind.  In slow motion you canclearly see him putting what looks like a Beretta on the floor.
