I heard people complaining that there isn't as much Wolf 762x39 out there, is this bs or truth?

There is no shortage, it just depends on how much you want to pay.

Ammo like gasoline, there is defintely a shortage of gasoline at $1/gal, but there is little shortage at $2.50/gal.

I don't know if I would agree with that. There are a lot of places around my area that used to always have a stock of it and now its all gone. Only 1 or 2 gun shops have it at the moment and its like $85 for 500 rounds. I don't know about online.

Wolf got big contracts from Venezuela and Iraq for 7.2 x 39 last year.  While making that the commercially available stuf fdried up.  Now it is coming back on the market.  I have seen it at Gander Mountain and some shops I know have been told to expect some the end of February.

OOOOOOOOOOOOPS!!  Edited to make C-4's comment below confusing.

I wish I could find it for $85 for 500 around here.

If you haven't noticed it by now, you're really far behind the curve. Supply seems to be coming back as ammunitionstore.com had a bunch of Wolf at the last gunshow.

Last purchase I made of 7.62x39 was around $70 per thousand. I have about 5K on hand and I'm counting on that being enough to ride out this shortage.
