I carry a handgun cause its my right to do so and should I need one its better to have one than to not have one.

Because I never know when somebody will want to hurt or kill me. Be prepared, Boy Scouts. Its a dangerous world out there and its better to be dangerous yourself and not just be another victom.

Because the .gov has no legal obligation to protect me, only the public in general.
This is case law throughout the contry.

I carry a gun because there are three kinds of people... those that can count, and those that can't.
 Seriously, I tailor my answer to the kind of person asking the question. But the answer always involves the highlights of bad guys, my rights, protection, trained and skilled use of weapons, etc. |

Hints: watch jacket shoes ipod truck money looks or "I have worked to hard to die because someone thinks they need my wallet more than I do." "Because I refuse to be a victim." "Why does your car have air bags?" "Why does every woman need mace?" People don't really ask me this question. The only people who know I carry a gun are the ones who can act responsibly around me. All of those people are very level headed and smart. They understand why I carry a gun, if they don't already carry a gun they want to learn and do so. If you find yourself telling people you carry a gun, and they ask you why, then perhaps you should be more selective with who you tell. Not every hippie can handle it. |
