I've seen it before. It's usually a filler while some other event is on break.  never seen it on for more than 5 or 10 minutes.

I remember seeing it televised during the last olympics.  www.nbcolympics.com has listings localized for your local affiliate/cable/satelite provider.

If you want to see it, you usually have to be a nightowl or program a recorder.

I like the Canadian Broadcast Companys (cbc) coverage. The seem to cover all the sports not just the popular ones like NBC. Being in New york you should be able to pick it up.
I just looked and it looks like most days they are covering it.

I guess Biathalon is Finlins National sport.

The two BEST sports to watch are biathlon and curling.  I hope some coverage does get through.

I remember back in '96 I was all pumped-up when mountain biking became an Olympic sport.  I think I saw about 8 seconds of coverage

Curling is on CBC every weekend. Curling looks like a game you play when your drunk like Horseshoes. At least you can keep the beer on the ice to keep it cold.

But yeah it seems like they what to show the same crap ass sports all the time. I hate Figure skating.

biathalon is a really excellent sport.  they say that you don't know how well you can "really" shoot until you try it.  supposedly even excellent shooters go to shit when they're breathing heavy and tired as hell from the skiing.

CNBC or one of the other channels was running it late LATE at night/early morning last Winter Olys... There was actually an article about how many viewers it got, considering the odd hour is was one. I watched it for hours last go around.

I thought it was fucking AWSOME !

Skiing and shooting, what's not to like?

It'd be even more interesting if they combined alpine with biathlon mass-start.

Recorded it, was on USA network at 7am this morning.

ETS. I love Olympic shooting sports, esp. the summer games, hope I'll get to record them with Dish Network.
