Remember Arc flash lights? They were top quality LED lights like mini Surefires. They went under a few years back. Looks likr the original owner got it up a running again with even better products.

Does anyone remember them or own one of their lights?

It was very unforntunate that they failed. First company to produce a 1watt LED flashlight. American designed products made in america with american made components (No wonder they couldnt compete).

IIRC from reading candlepowerforums, they fell victim to maglite's "litigation instead of innovation" business approach. And also IIRC, they weren't the only one to fall victim to that approach.

The AAA-Arc flashlight is an awesome little light.  It just works, in a small package, and works well.

Have one with me every day.  Great combo with one of these clips:

Yup, Gransee's been back for awhile, but he's only doing the AAA's. Henry from HDS (who designed the Arc 4) is in business for himself now with his own version of the Arc 4.

I have a couple of LSL's and LSH's, but like bastiat said, there are ALOT of new, better and cheaper players on the market.

Howdy! Are you the owner? Who ever you got did a pretty good job on the site. Maybe I will have better luck next time.

Its a small world, eh? Take care!

Not very powerful buggers, are they?

We used to be able to buy the cheap Surefire's for $30 at PX, and they are bright little bastids for $30....but they no have them anymore.

5.5 lumens is the perfect amount of light for small tasks, especially for an led.  My Surefire L1 is rated at only 15 lumens, but I swear it's brighter (by far) than my E2e, which is rated at 60 lumens.

Hmm.....I have different uses for what you do.

And i stand corrected, the PX does carry them, I just wasnt able to find them in their new spot.  Woot.  G2 Nitrolon coming my way in the next coupla days.
Now, if only their "60min run time" was a little better.  Hmmmph.
