Rubbing alcohol to degrease it and you should be good.

Go buy some that has adhesive on the backside and apply

Walmart craft dept or craft/hobby stores, an adhesive called E6000 or Alene's 7800.
Or buy some new sticky back velcro in the sewing department. You can get it in strips or in little circles. |
