Isn't there a website where you can type in an FFL license number and the site with verify it's standing and authenticity?

I looked on batf website but missed it somehow. Thanks!

It must only work with 01 Dealer FFL's.  I entered my C&R license number and got this:

Federal Firearms License Results

You Entered FFL Number: 0-00-XXX-XX-XX-00000

If you are certain you entered the correct license number, there is a strong possibility that the FFL you are attempting to verify is invalid and/or this may be an attempt at a fraudulent transaction.

You should not complete the transaction without first contacting ATF at 1-877-560-2435 for assistance.
