Colt 1991a1 and glock 19, the 19 is pushed slightly forward for comparison... but are really about the same depth.

But it looks like the glock has more allowence for super cool operator gloves.

If it's really the same angle, why do Glocks feel so awkward in my hand?

Looks to me like a compact Glock is smaller than a 1911 Whoda thunk it ?  Btw, which Glock model is this ?  Looks like a 19, but I know Glock has compact models in other calibers too.

now i would like to see a pic of the Glock in back, so that it would show how much of the back strap is missing on a Glock.

If you stare at it long enough it looks like a poolside lounge chair.

Is this like a Rorshack test?

I see a redhead with huge titties.

Here, look at this one:

Here I see a CZ75B, ported, with ambi-controls.

I like this game.

Because it's not.

Of course there are probably other reasons, possible like the edges of the magazine well being a different shape, the texture being different, width, length, etc...

If it was Wednesday, Feb 1, 1912, I'd think a 1911 is pretty damn sweet.

Today, I'll take the Glock.

It seems so much more drastic than that though. The way I perceive it, I'd expect to see the back edge of the MSH peeking out from behind in that pic.

Oh well. It still doesn't change my mind that I won't shoot any Glock other than the sub-compacts.

ETA: That second pic with the Glock in front is more what I thought. So I'm not really (as) crazy.

guns are like cars.. personal preferance.

i must say i do DRASTICALLY better with the g19, than a g17, and I do decent with a g30, better than with the g21.

It looks like just a couple degrees difference, but that can be anough between "perfect fit" and "WTF is this shit?"

ETA: I wonder what it would look like if we could get a complete profile shot, not one of these pics which are taken so close that it makes the gun in front look larger and block the rear so much.

only real way to do that would be a 1:1 overlay of actual drawings.  darn perspective.  top down wouldnt work, because it would block side profiles.

As I suspected, there have been no significant improvements in the last 95 years.
