My friend brought over his M1919A4 to zero today.

We had a good time and I know what I will be building next.

Cute kids,,,,they must look like their Mom,,,,

Last summer we ruined a kid for plinking with my 1919. Gramps brought out the .22 bolt gun and they wandered by, we had all sorts of go-fast weapons and let the kid and gramps try out a few things. I bet the kid still smiles thinking about it.

is that a home made tripod? I'm nearly finished with my semi-1919 and need to figure out a tripod.

Great! Something else to add to the must have list. And to think I actually held off on the spectacular deal on the group buy at the 1919 site

Awesome!

Be careful with the last pic, people like stealing pics from this site that have kids with guns and then use them without your consent.

Like the moron blogger that posted up the kalishnakitty photo.

If you meant the 1919a4 group buy that they had from a company in Ohio, you did OK. I bought one and the sear is made of soft metal and failed. My other friends had theirs shipped with parts missing. I really dont know how they can ship with a part so obviously gone.

I have to send mine away for a KMP sear and machining. Adding several hundred dollars.

You get what you paid for is never been so true.

Damn Doc,sorry. For once,my doing wrong turned out right. The guy claimed every one was function tested before shipping.Hope to go back to my original idea of putting one together myself.Trying to talk someone I met into doing a build party as he's done a few,and has the equipment.Plus,my brother made him some bluing/parkerizing tanks some years back,so he kinda/sorta owes me
