I see tons of ads for "free" credit reports, but they aren't really free, they want to sell you some type of dubious credit monitoring service.

I'd like to get a copy of my credit report, or one from each of the major agencies. i don't mind spending a few bucks, but I don't want to subscribe to any BS service.

I know you can request one from the agency, I've done that and never got any response, I think those request go on a far back burner or into the circular file.

Any suggestions?
