Before you ask, the volleyball kneepads are for someone else in the household...

Tomorrow I'm testing two things:

How well V-Maxes shoot in a 20" AR and, how well reloaded HK33 brass holds up...

Any predictions?

I wonder if he tried really hard, could Ted Kennedy fit his head in a shell casing?

I know from the 93, it really dings the hell out of the case neck and wall.  Seems to have resized pretty well for ya.  Shouldnt be a problem for the first, second or perhaps third time around - but I'd check'em real good.

Nope, they're the new UV rounds...

I plan to use them on vampires!

Yes

Sometimes I tumble just to make them look new.

When I'm using good identical brass and I tumble with polish, you'd never tell the difference from factory ammo...

I use the spray on lube and hand wipe-off everyone (while inspecting them).

Thanks for the response, OP.

no it is not, it is perfectly safe.  some people who dont know any better claim that it will cause your powder to degrade and cause your weapon to make like the stereotypical glock and go kaboom

I could make 20 for the next group shoot if you're interested...

I've got some Black Hills Match brass sitting around that I can use...

Let me know.

I sent you an IM...

If anyone wants to know the recipe, its 26 grains of Varget behind a 55 grain bullet seated to a FMJ cannelure...

ETA: I just finished chamber checking and inspecting them and I had two rejections...

Neither one was split HK brass.

Good luck on the HK33 brass.  If the brass isn't scarred up or cracked or showing signs of head separation you should be fine.

I shoot 55 grain Nosler Ballistic Tips in my 16" 1/9 twist AR.  They work very well for me.  Haven't tried anything lighter yet.

ETA:  What were your pictures actually of?  I got the little box saying the image was removed.

You all suck up a lot of bandwith!

I'm reposting them now somewhere else...
I shot the ammo and you all would be surprised to see what they do to cans...

Maybe I can try them out sometime on a squirrel, a deer, or maybe even a DU troll!

J/k
