The Mrs tripped on the steps and dislocated her toe. Never heard of that one before.

No, but I've broken both little toes 3 times each.

As a kid, I once slipped on the stairs and broke my toe. The doc just taped it up, using the next  toe as a splint. Took ~2 months to quit hurting.

I can empathize with her as I'm just healing up from a fractured 5th metatorsal and some sprained tendons. I litterally had to crawl to the crapper. Hurt feetz ain't no funz!Specially if you live alone. Ain't nobody there to fetch younothin' or fix you a sammich.

She popped me in the head with a newspaper the last time I said it.

Yup, dislocated my big toe using it (and the rest of my foot) to push a kitchen cabinet into place while my partner screwed it to the wall.  I didn't realize what had happened, but when I took my foot away I noticed it really, really hurt.

I limped around for the next 6 hours on the job and then finally took off my boot to see if there was anything to see.  Once the boot was off, I was running my hand over the top of the offending toe when it let out a loud crack and (evidentally) popped back into place.  Twenty minutes later, it was almost as good as new.  Wierd.

Damn right!

We need video.

Do you think you can get her to wear that pink tanktop that she had in the Bush/Cheney bumper sticker pic?
