I've always believed that a proper pump shotgun, even a short-barreled riotgun, should be blued with a wood stock. It just looks so... right.

Put walnut stocks on your black rifles? Doesn't DPMS sell a walnut stock and handguard for AR's?

That's not symptomatic of "gun snob" disease.

Its symptomatic of "old fart duck hunter " disease.

Get a grip man. Shake it off, and come back to the dark side.

I wouldn't call myself a snob, as i'm not into 45k H&H doubles or any of that junk...

But I do love my Enfields. And my 03s. And my other military guns.

There's something gorgeous about wood and steel rifles. Especially wood and steel rifles that you can bludgeon someone to death with.

(That being said, I do have a certain fondness for my Sig/Rizzini TT25 20ga.)
