IIRC, Yahoo (eta: and microsoft) has been doing this for awhile. Business is business, did you think they would put morals ahead of dollars?

Google does claim that their motto is "Don't be evil"

Nope, I would provide services within the rules, and hope my product in some small way provided for the winds of political change to blow.

Pure capitalism at its best.

I probably would. Maybe that's why I'm not a millionaire. I also think all drugs should be legalized but would never touch the things myself. Just because you have freedom doesn't mean you have to act like a jackass.

Or like subnet says, take their offer and do what you can within it to put a thumb in the eye of the commies.

A) Takes a principled stand against releasing anonymous search results to U.S. Justice department.

B)Falls flat on it's back and spreads it's legs for China like two dollar whore.

C) All of the above

Answer = C

Go figure.
