I was browsing through what's left of Winchester 94s in local gun shop when I notice there are quite a few "Commemorative Editions". Wells Fargo, Illinois BiCentennial, Sitting Bull (or was it Crazy Horse) etc. Then I remember all those stacks of gold-plated medallion inset special editions of baseball players and old cowboy movie actors at gun shows and magazines. Anyone actually buy those cheesy blings? I am surprised they haven't come up with "Papal Edition", from St. Peters to Benedict XVI. Collect them all!

I bought my mom a john wayne one for christmas a couple of years ago as she is a huge fan
We get people wanting to trade them in all the time
there are afew that are worth money like the John Wayne mentioned but most I can't sell for more than a regular 30/30

I probably see 2-3 a month mostly wells fargo , golden spike, buffalo bill, and antlered game
Im guessing those must be the most common
The JWs and a few of the state centennial ones can bring good money but the rest are $300 guns at best
