Experimental Oz project packs grav-busting hyperdrive

By Lester Haines
Published Monday 23rd January 2006 11:08 GMT

Here's a question for you: what have the Nazi wartime test facility at Peenemunde and the Australian city of Perth got in common? Well, the first thing (and just about the only thing, truth be told) which springs to mind is that they are both next to large bodies of water. This is useful if you're going to test things which might go bang. Like V-2 rockets and - wait for it - flying cars:

According to our Oz photo interpretation bureau (Clinton Bird), the vehicle in question is at an altitude of three of four metres and doing about 80 knots. Which rules out a rocket-powered project, and we can see no evidence of the Wankel-powered turbofan outrigger engines favoured by the Moller Corporation:

Which leaves just one possible explantion: the Aussies have developed a gravity-busting hyperdrive, have bolted it into a second-hand Holden, and are seen here in the split second before their X-Motor made the transdimensional leap to hyper light speed.

So, the answer to the question "Where's my bloody flying car?" is very simply "Right here"*.
Bootnote

* .kmz file, naturally. For those of you still doing it by hand, try Honour Avenue, Point Walter, Perth.

3 or 4 hundred meters up? What an idiot.

The car that is 'flying' isn't much larger that the cars that are 'anchored to the earth' to the right.

I bet it is a photoshop.

Second guess is a car on a stick.

Car mounted on stilts for whatever reason. Maybe used as a billboard.
Link Posted: 1/23/2006 7:05:03 PM EDT
Surely it couldn't be a car on a pole.

You read it wrong. I have no idea if it is real or not but I would agree that 300-400 meters is way too high for what we see in the picture.

Elevated tractor trailer water tank, usually found around construction sites.

no its real, the 69th PAF and SSDG's were flying cover for the op but obviously a satellite made it through or perimeter....

Uh....MOVE ALONG NOTHING TO SEE HERE
Link Posted: 1/23/2006 9:27:39 PM EDT
Uh, at 3 or 4 metres and 80 n, isn't is a stroke of luck that the picture was taken just before it crashed into the surrounding trees?

Photoshop.

That or we must come to grips with the reality that decades of improvement and testing on old Nazi war machine experiments have produced the ever-so-terrifying concept of CARS ON STICKS!!!

its true really, I met this guy said he was a door gunner on a flying car,,

Cars on sticks? Wtf are you all smoking. Look at the perspective of the camara shot and the other shadows. The camara is almost directly above and the shadows are all falling very short due to a high noon sun. If it was on sticks the shadow would still be under the car, not to the side.

How about its 2 cars parked next to each other. One white/cream colored the other black. The other black car in the top right caught a reflection, this one didnt.

Somebody call NSA quick!

Then we can get the license plate numbers!

That is one hell of a dark shadow for being 3-4 hundred meters up.

gotta be doin 87mph!!!

That's not even a Photoshop job. Look at the lighting in the picture. That's a damn model, probably similar to what scale train hobbiest use to enhance their sets. It doesn't even look real.

I'm convinced.

But then, I'm still not sure professional wrestling is fake.

Still looking for the G-spot too.

What a great thread.

The taller the object is, the farther the shadow will fall from it. The cars on the ground have shadows falling to the left. The taller car/object has its shadow falling farther to the left.
If you still need a clue then look at the shadows from the trees.

Black car parked next to a white car.....black car looks like a shadow of the white car.

Ha, reminds me of when I was in Djibouti a year ago. Three broken down C5s on the only airport in the whole country. No khat could come in for a week. Damn near had the whole city rioting.

If it's traveling 80 kts, I hope he's already initiated a turn. Dem trees are prolly taller than 3 or 4 meters.

It's a sign.

80 knots huh? That's like 90 MPH!

I've been all over the world using Google Earth. I have never seen any people in any of the photos. There's a boat in Lake Michigan near Navy Pier in Chicago and you can see the wake behind the boat and the seats on the boat but no people. Downtown Chicago, New York, etc..., no people.

I looked at most of the major cities of the world and no people. What's with that?
