Wonder what odds Vegas gave that the Seahawks would even be in the Superbowl a few months ago?

Believe it or not if you bet at the begining of the season as to who would win the 2005/2006 season:

Seattle was 1/22 payout
Pittsburgh 1/8 payout

Seahawks= Overrated

Who did they play this season?  What was the toughest defense they face this year, an over-achieving Dallas team with a good coach?  If Pittsburgh can stop Alexander there is no doubt in my mind that the Seahawks will get throttled in this game.  Enjoy the next two weeks Seahawks fans.

Yeah, they are real over-rated.  Cost me a 5 spot and beat the hell out of a pretty good team.
Over-rated = Denver!

I hate the Steelers.  Sadly they will probably win.  palamalulululu or whatever is a nut. I swear he can trip while blitzing, then somehow get the interception off a 30 yd. bomb.  A true freak.

That would be because there aren't any decent teams in the NFC. The Steelers already crushed a bunch of teams that are better than anything the NFC has which is too bad because I'm an NFC guy at heart.

I suspect the Steelers are going to crush the Seahawks.

FWIW Here is my analysis:

Both coaches will bring focused teams and good game plans, so there will be no unprepared teams.

Seattle has a great tackle, great fullback and great running back. They will manage some yards and the defense will have to key on that, which in turn opens up some passing.

We know the Steelers fat running back will bludgeon his way for some yards and the Seahawks will have to key on that giving up some passes.

Seattle also has a deep threat with its receivers. I haven't seen enough Steelers to know about their receivers.

Pittsburg has a crazy man running around who shows up everywhere, sideways, with a ball in his hands.

Seattle has a crazy man throwing himself headfirst into anything that moves and knocking it out.

So I say it is a toss up and it will come down to pass protection whether the Seahawks are throwing touchdowns or coconuts for starved islanders.

[Red Forman]You actually expected the Browncos to go all the way with Cleveland's defensive line from last year? Dumbass!!!

Sorry, I forgot about the Browncos.   They did pretty good with 'em all year!!!
