I'm debating on dropping some cash on a new HD TV.  80% of my TV viewing consists of FOX News.  Knowing that FOX News broadcasts in HD would be the straw that broke the camel's back for me on this decision.

I'm in VA and I get my broadcast from DirectTV if that matters.

I don't think they do yet, check your sat. or cable company's website they should list HD programming.

Fox the TV station broadcasts some shows in HD, but the Fox News channel is not, at least not on Cox cable it isn't.

In fact all the channels below 100 don't look that good, and Fox News is below 100.
