It's George Barris' "Super Van" based on a 1966 Dodge Tradesman.  It was lengthened, the body removed for a completely custom replacement and after extensive alterations from front to back, Supervan emerged from Barris Kustom industries in its first incarnation as the Love Machine.

Initially it was painted yellow with orange shag and interior appointments that included a revolving bed and an entertainment console. Later it was re painted to Day-Glo pink but retained the orange interior.

Super Van was the title character in Super Van, the Movie in which the Van was a Futuristic Solar Powered vehicle, coveted by bad guys and protected by the Good Guys.

The Van toured Hot Rod Shows and special events all over North America for several years and a model kit was produced of the Love Machine by MPC.

After that, it was reworked again and appeared in Back to the Future II as the Hill Valley Transporter.

Sorry not this time.

Outstanding on the vans history though.

I remember when I was a kid, I thought this van and Evil Knivel were the coolest things on the planet.

The van has been restored to its 1977 glory and can be had for 89,000 dollars.

On an unrelated note, lt557...........

A very close friend of mine's daughter married Evil Knival, and I have spent quite a bit of time around him

Played golf with him a few times and enjoyed more stories than you can imagine.

(One crazy dude, and you would not believe how the women fawn over him, even to this day ....in spite of his advancing age).

Never seen that van, but like it!

Evil can play golf? I thought he was pretty much immobile due to all the bones that have been broken.

Some show about post SHTF, some scientists looking for a cure. I think there was a DPV style vehicle in the back.

Occasionally they'd go out in that vehicle and get attacked by zombies.

ETA Suburban got it: ARK
