Went to pick out a 1911 and the Kimber Tactical Pro 2 felt great in my hand and was just an awesome gun. It was $902.99 I thought that was kind of high but wasn't sure? After checking it seems like a good price. I also held off from buying and told him I would be back tomorrow because it is a series 2 with the external extractor. Is this a go, should I buy it or hold off and look for an internal extractor model?

I have one. I paid around $930. List is between 1000-1100. So you are not getting a great deal but a fair one.

EDIT TO ADD: Mine has been very reliable. I had a few FTF FTE in the first 250 rounds but since then it has been just fine.

Buying that gun in 9mm would be Blasphemy.

Why the hell would he waste his time with a .45 set on "stun", anyway???

I payed $850 for my Tactical Custom (full size version) a couple years ago in California. $900 sounds kinda high...

As far as I know, they all have external extractors.
