Of course they weren't all bad.
Damn, and the how to make chocolate milk thread just got locked... I swear they put shit in the water in some places... |
I was an "honorary" negro. |
Back when you were considering a negroplasti? |
Wtf is up with the fish face on howdy ?You get your one big chance on tv and you squeeze out a fish face?
Cmon admit it that was you . |
Man, that brings back memories.
I will freely admit to being enamored of breakdancing - especially the physical stuff the NYC Breakers and Crash Crew did. It was stunning, from a gymnastic standpoint. The dancing shit did nothing for me, but I liked to see those guys windmill like that, it's neat even now. But, you're right that show was uber ghey. |
WTF?!
You were doing okay with the Shrike, and the supressed rifles and all... Then you slipstream back to a time that i'm glad i'm too young to remember coherently? Please tell me, that in all your honorary negro glory, you didn't wear parachute pants... Say it isn't so, Steyr... |
You just lost many cool-points.
That may just cost you your man card. |
Parachute pants were for posers. I was Adidas down. |
Nah...I didn't have a racial identity crisis. I was just hanging with the bruthas. |
Crash Crew were rappers, you are probably thinking of Rock Steady Crew. I was attracted to breaking due to my involvement with martial arts. |
Okay, fine. |
Just FYI, a new generation of NYC breakers have been hitting the parks and subway stations...good stuff
WTF??? Have you been reading your old HS annuals??
Dragging up all of this past tonight??? What's next "The Lost Virginity Thread"? |
Its beyond me how ANYONE could consider watching that kind of cRAP. |
Already did that one in Dec. Was called... "Your Early Sexual History...Or Dear Penthouse Forum" Was posted in GD, moved to Team but now I can't find it. |
When the alternatives were early 80s hair bands like Poison I'll take Run DMC any day. At least they don't dress like wimmen. |
Indeed. Do you still own a Member's Only jacket? |
Not since 84. But I have some Adidas shell toes around here someplace. |
That's fucking great. |
You're right - fuzzy memory. I can't keep my hokey black gangs straight! hehe. Anyway, it was amazing shit, from a physical standpoint. Didn't get into the scene, but I loved to watch it. |
It was mostly a "see what I can do that you can't do" sorta thing that appealled to teenagers and a way to show off for girls. It was fun. |
Dude, the Kennedys, Violent Femmes and all that shit were seriously lame and the only thing lamer were the hairy leg chicks who were into it. |
Looking at the photos you posted and the number of comments by other members, I'd say you outed yourself as one big geek in the 80's. |
Dude, you need to find a hobby or something, you post some of the most insipid shit.
Well I did also listen to Rush. |
OMG is that lootie in his younger years???!!? |
Fuck Rush. You lose face. -1 for bad taste. |
Wikki Wikki Wikki. Rush rocks pilgrim boy. |
Hey, you sure you really got rid of that jacket, homer? |
Dude when them fly ass "Thriller" jackets came out in 1984 I had to. |
OMFG. You owe me a keyboard. That's enough. I have no suitable reply other than to laugh my ass off. |
Up here in the suburbs of Detroit... NO self respecting white boy would hop on that rap bus til' about 86' or 87'.
No chance. I still cannot for the life of me why white people will insist on acting black and doing the wigger thing. Amazing. Dram |
Ouch! Touche! |
I wanna Rock- Were not gonna take it...... The haters in this thread with their bs are exactly why racism thrives in America. Repeat after me maroons...... MUSIC IS MUSIC.... |
WTF? |
The funny thing is they think they aren't anything like the DUmmies who call Colin Powell an Uncle Tom sellout. |
That would be so funny if it wasnt so true. |
Hey man it's a black thing so they wouldn't understand. |
Okay then. I don't like your breakdancing stuff, but I respect your love of all things related to music.
Just remember... If Neal Peart decided to study Bushido instead of drums, you'd be sliced. (edited: speelin', content) |
Ah. Gotcha. I tend to filter shit like that. |
The Three Stooges invented break dancing.
Seriously. Curly was a master breaker, way ahead of his time. |
I thought Jackson Pollock was dead? |
