I bought an original "Little Black Sambo"  from an online vendor.  This copy was from 1955.  The UPS man left it on my front porch as usual.  Usually the dogs ignore boxes left on the porch.  However, this time they decided to eat the box and the contents.  Packing peanuts and bits of Sambo all over the front yard.  That little book was over $50 shipped.

Does anyone want a dog?  I've got four.  Come take your pick.

This was probably the dog's way of making a statement about the non-PC nature of the gift.  One dog is black, so I suspect her.
