God purposely put the peel there to gross out a certain amount of kids, thereby assuring more tomatoes for the rest of us.

Drop in boiling water for 1 minute, maybe two. Scoop out and drop into icewater. Skin splits and you can peel it easily. Only way to go for home made sauces. Did it last night for squid w/ peas and tomatoes - good Tuscan chow. |
