The article title is misleading, the clerk struck the robber a half dozen times.

There was a follow up article a couple days later about how many residents in our area are arming themselves.   The list includes store owners and other business people who are upset with the rise in robberies.

Our crime rates will begin to tumble if people follow through with this.
