... Next week, I'll do a "favorite hunting handgun" thread.

... Lemme start. She's one of several pistols and revolvers I cycle (I know, you purists think that's a crappy idea) but I train with several CCW weapons regularly.

... First off: A Para-Ordnance P-14-45 with a 14+2 mag. I love her! (More to add later)

My carry gun isn't here yet so no real pics, but here's one from the manufacturer.

Dan Wesson Commander Classic Bobtail

I'll be replacing the mag release and the thumb safety with Ed Brown products and it will wear a pair of VZ Grips.

My only carry gun. I have since switched the belt loop to a simple D ring (I hated that 8 shapped loop!).

OH MY GOD! You can't let a Glock touch leather, that's for 1911's.  You need nylon or kydex for a Glock!

Here's my photo, cleverly ensconced in a motivational poster.

I now have grey VZ grips on the TRP, but you get the idea. I also carry a G26, so it's a little hypocritical.

I can't really say one or the other is preferred, since the weather and how I'm dressed determines that. I can hit what I'm shooting at better with the Glock, but at 20 feet or less I can hit well enough with either.
