Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Picked up an M6 scout finish on stock a little rough rust suggestions

I don't know why, I've always wanted one of these odd little guns. I picked one up with the factory scope and mount. Gun portion is very good condition however the stock portion has some minor surface rusting. what would you do to it?
